About Kokoro

KOKORO is a design studio established in 2017, based in Montenegro.

Kokoro in Japanese means the heart. The heart is like the core of things.

Kokoro Design Studio is officially dedicated to discovering the touch point of the minimal and intimate in life, and therefore the design of everyday items. Kokoro emerged as a theme that should be my relationship to life; somehow I have concluded that all things need to be simplified, to the very heart. As I am more a visual person than narrative, I am interested in all the visible things. I believe that in all things there exists some beauty. This has to do with Japanese culture, and this process of discovery is actually of interest to me.
